Guys I need help.

There were actual two addresses in the PPR email.

If you have a mailing address in Canada:

The pre-paid Xpresspost envelope must be from Canada Post. Please note that we will not return documents to a Canadian address via any other courier.
Submit all documents by mail in a single package and send to the following address:

CPC – Ottawa – PR
PO Box 9780
Ottawa ON K1G 4B9


If you have a mailing address in the U.S.A.:

The Self-Addressed pre-paid envelope should be arranged with a courier that delivers between Canada and the U.S.A.
Submit all documents by mail in a single package and send to the following address:

CPC – Ottawa – PR
365 Laurier Avenue West
Ottawa ON K1A 1L1


I supposed to put the address provided for applicants have mailing address in canada. But, I did this horrible mistake and put up the wrong address which is if you have mailing address in U.S.

Does anyone had similar situation?

Oh shoot, email or call CIC immediately to let them you know mailed them there so that they can hopefully be aware. The other address is only for applicants within USA who send via Fedex or DHL etc.

see above. Call them ASAP. and also send email.

Yes I did already. They are not seeing any updates there.

Email wont be enough - Atleast you get immediate feedback with a phone call. Email may or may not be seen on time.

I called them yesterday and they said technically U.S department shuould send us as soon as they received package. I called today as well to check if there is any change.

thing is that when I track the package it still says out for delivery and I called canada post and they said it has been already delivered on 23rd March.

I asked them than why it is still showing out for delivery and they said there are 100 or 200 of posts everyday and when they will grab that package than only status would change. Now, I am wondering how long it will take to grab the package if it has been delivered on 23rd March.

When did you send yours to Ottawa?

I made the same mistake.

So they are returning your passport with no visa, correct?
