Passports to Accra Visa Office !

Just received an email from IRCC Accra that my passport is ready for pickup, I requested for a courier pickup rather than going through VFS. it was granted ...so i am waiting for DHL to pick it up...because i have to travel for an urgent official trip

My advise to anyone who is about to submit his or her passport is to go through VFS Ghana and not go through VFS Nigeria.. this can shorten your wait time by 3-4 weeks. VFS Nigeria is a mess and should be avoided.

From what I read, I think it was extended to sometime in April. That's if they don't extend it again.
I can't find the link to that news though.

Feb 6: Authorization letter - they asked and officer said I am not supposed to land. Was told to come back in 2 weeks and kept my COPR and passports.

Feb 6: Will head to air bnb for quarantine now - 40 minutes from the airport.

Feb 6: Some were landed, guess it depends on the officer that attended to you.

Feb 21: Back at YYZ Departure Airport after 14 days of isolation. Landing in progress. Landing done. They will send PR card to my brother’s home. Landing

Feb 21: Job search begins.

I submitted my passport via vfs ghana for final processing upon request by Ircc on the 6th January 2021 and still not received any further response. Anytime i try Tracking my application it says no records found even though i have sent an email to vfs and has informed me my application has been dispatched to the ircc office for processing. I'm very worried! What should i do?

Hello, it’s possible that you’re inputting the tracking id incorrectly. Input it rightly, don’t copy from your email and paste on the page for tracking. Hopefully something will pop up

Passport received last week... But i was given 2.5 months to land.. I will try to extend my visa because ..not sure i can make it within that period due to work related travels.

Can someone help explain this. On Canada.ca when u try the tool to check if you can come to Canada. All other nationals can't enter Canada if copr issued after March 18 2020. But if you choose that you will be coming from the US even with connections it says you will likely allowed
