I believe you can pay for return to you via courier, VFS do offer that service; check their website.
What i did yesterday was i went to DHL and then i sent it to accra. And bought an airway bill back to where i live in kano. Does that work? I hope it does because my passport is at stake

You’ll have to wait and see, cos my understanding is that AVO stopped receiving passports directly from courier companies a while back; they only receive passports through VFS.

Seriously? The abu dhabi visa office welcomes that idea. But in the accra PPR, it didnt really mention how i can send the passport. So i just patterned it after the abu dhabi PPR. I also enclosed an airway bill. OMG please thats gonna be a bad news if that is indeed true.

I am new here in nigeria and do not know how things work. And kano is far from abuja more sobLagos

No need to panic yet. What you described was the pattern, but I guess it changed for whatever reason. It’s great that you included a return airway bill; so just wait and see. Wish you all the best.

do you have any idea how this post went?

I am running through serious confusion as to what to pay.

On the VFS website, I read that if you are submitting your passport to the same VFS office that you submitted your biometrics, you are not required to pay the transmission fee.

It's there in black and white, I so wish I was in Abuja right now so I could just walk in.

Anyways, to be on the safe side, this is what I paid for. Can someone tell me if I am correct

Passport transmission fee x 2: 35580
Courier fee: 10120
GC fee: 1270
Total of 46,790

I am proceeding to DHL now to courier the documents.

I saw a vac consent form, am I supposed to download it n attach to it.

Someone, anyone, who did biometrics and submitted in the same place of biometric, please help.

@gio1 @Cookie000
@tobs please help answer me please

Is that the only means? Coz I am in Kano and I sent my passport through DHL. There is no way I can go to Abuja or Lagos.

All passports are sent from Nigeria to Ghana via the Lagos or Abuja VFS. what you've done is the only way to do it..

You seem to be right. I read other threads. I need my passport back soon to get my work visa in nigeria. What do you think will happen that i sent my passport through DHL.

Like I said in the post you quoted, wait and see. Make sure to track the package to know when it’s delivered.

Yeah thats what i will do. Maybe i should also send an email. Though based on feedback it seems it will be impossible to get a response.

In the pdf file of the ppr, it says read something about passport transmission on the vfs website. When I click the link though, I can't see that part. :(

It's been 2 weeks now since we submitted our passports at vfs in Lagos. We are awaiting an update. I did not know it would take so long!

Hi Mosun,

Have you received your passport back from VFS (I assume you submitted at VFS Lagos) ? If yes, would you know the date your passport became available for pickup?

Hi everyone,

For people that submitted their passports at VFS Lagos, what's the average timeline now for getting passport back? I know it used to be 21 days... I just want to know if this still obtains.

Thanks

I'm interested to know as well especially now that COPR is no longer processed in Accra but in Lagos.

Seriously? I called Lagos VFS last week and they told me that they send the passports to accra

That's wrong info. For the past 2 weeks now it's been done in Lagos. I submitted my passport to vfs lagos on Tuesday and even spoke to the woman there, she confirmed it's now Lagos and that it could take about a week plus to get the copr back. They've changed it.
