Wow people just look the level of mismanagement these guys are doing. I am speechless.
After i got this mail i called up VFS Nigeria helpline on Tuesday and the agent confirmed that my passport had indeed reached Lagos and was being handed over to UPS for delivery to my home and i should get it in a couple of days.
Relieved that i can finally travel and meet my family, which i have been desperately pleading with these guys, I booked for the weekend (assuming that it won't take more than 4 days for UPS to deliver it to me in Lagos).
Now, yesterday when I called up the VFS Helpline for update, I was told that the email notification to me was sent out by mistake and even the agent who confirmed the status of my passport did it by mistake, and the passport is not even in Lagos yet.
I just now cancelled my flight tickets just now which cost me 400 USD cancellation fee with another long emotionally draining for the passport wait in sight.
I cant believe what is happening and they will get away with it without any consequences.
I am now not only in the 8th week of waiting for my passport now i also pay 400 USD for a mistake they committed. Feeling really helpless right now
