Thanks, finally got through yesterday, I was told it's still in transit... submitted on 7th of Dec and received at VFS on 9th of Dec

Hi, Have you received any update from them yet, I also submitted by Passport on 23rd through DHL, but It's been saying "Your application, tracking ID No. is in transit and has been dispatched to the IRCC Office through the Office, on for processing. For further details, please contact the VAC helpline number or refer to our website at: https://www.vfsglobal.ca/canada/Nigeria " since the 24th of December. What does that mean please?
The only update is the changes to my GC key. My passport is also in transit according to the tracking.
Did you receive any update from them when your GC key was updated, have you been getting messages from VFS, when you tracked is it saying the same thing as mine or in another format?

No. I called VFS yesterday. After my persistent questions, I was told that I should expect my passport back on Thursday (all things remaining equal) and receive the e-mail on Friday for courier consent form. When did your passport get to Accra?
I will like to say this.
I think this will be useful for new ppr clinchers.
Don't go through Nigeria vfs. If you can find someone to pay into vfs Ghana account in Accra and send u the slip through courier.
Then u send the package directly to them. The fees they charge already include return courier. The process so far for me has taken less than 2 weeks. I have received conterfoil update.
I think it's the transit b/w the two vfs that's taking a lot of time for most people.

Same month we are looking at too... Thankfully the Covid cases in Ontario is dropping, I pray it continues to drop...
