Guys I need your input.Submitted passport to VFS on January 2nd.checked my CIC account on 16/1/2029 and my status shows Application Approved, and I could see the counterfoil number on my profile.
I reside outside Lagos so I paid for my passport to be sent back to me via courier,and I’m yet to receive my passport back. What do I do,I need advice please

I think there’s not much you can do if its being shipped expect wait. It is suppose to take 3-4 weeks, which would take you to Jan23 to Jan30th. Since its only been few days you could travel to the vfs office and see if you can just pick it up instead of having it shipped. I’ve read from most people its usually ready for pick up 5 days after counterfoil update

cpc-ctd-ottawa@cic.gc.ca. But based on experience, the replies sent to me were all from webform. They replied at least days from when i raised the webform.

My agent went to Lagos and was informed I need to appear for an interview. Is that a good thing? Should I be worried? What kind of questions woukd be asked?

Passport has lingered. Agent went to ask why. Was informed I need to come for an interview as part of the visa process.

The reason for interview request varies from case to case, or application to application. In my case, the officer needed to clarify an issue about a conviction on my record. If you’re not sure why you’re being invited for an interview, the best thing for you to do will be to apply for your GCMS notes. I assume you have an interview date.
