I was wondering why they are taking so long to stamp our passports with visa.
Maybe they are still waiting for other passports to deliver to their office because they gonna probably doing it by batches.
They sent passport request letters on September 23, 26 and I think on Sept. 29 as well.

I sent my passport Tuesday Sep 30 and reached Ottawa Thursday Oct 2nd. Let's keep in touch. According to what i read it's taking around 5 business days to send it back

I sent my Passport on 27th Sep.,2014 and received by CPC-ottawa on 30th Sep.,2014. Did nt hear back from them yet. Neither ECAs status updated. Can someone please let me know the time it takes to get it stamped and returned?

I think as long as you are sending by Canada Post you should send it to the PO Box address, isn't it? I was advised so by the Canada Post staff, so I sent mine (Priority envelope) to the PO Box address, and it was delivered on Sep 30 with signature. But since Adi7 says his ExpressPost envelope was delivered to the street address, I don't think you need to worry too much about it.

They said it takes up to 2 weeks to receive our passports back. I sent mine on Sept. 24 and reached Ottawa on the 26th.
Until now my return tracker has not been activated yet.

No, nothing yet, mine was sent on Sep 29 and delivered on Sep 30. I don't think they update eCAS for receiving/returning the passport though. The next time you will see an update on eCAS is when they start processing your PR card application after landing as far as I know. And I think Yayita said it usually takes 5 business days? But I've seen longer and shorter cases so I guess all we can do is to wait.

Thanks for your response. But as I read somewhere in forum it change to VISA Issues in some cases, so wondering might be it get udpated when they stamp visa. NOt sure as still few people waiting who sent before me I do not see it will return back soon.
