Read some posts from other threads that border officers were sometimes "reluctant" to do the "landing" process (theyve been told that it should be done in either Calgary or Edmonton). Thus I'm a little confused about this "landing" thing too.

I hate Canada post, i send my documents on 28 Sep but still my xpress post showing out for delivery. My Passport was kept 1 day and courier on 30 Sep. It sucks, still haven't reach ottawa.

September 28 is Sunday, right? Is there some Canadapost office
that opens on Sunday? Anyway, just keep on tracking your passport.

their passports back from Ottawa. Hope we're next...

There are 4 guys dispatching CoPR:
First one is printing, second one puts it in envelope, third one is licking the envelope, fourth one takes it to mailing box. If any of them takes day off we are stack....

AT WHAT TIME THEY RECEIVED YOUR PASSPORT. THEY GOT MY PASSPORT AT 9:42 AM ON 25TH. DID YOU USE CANADA POST TO SEND YOUR PASSPORT. I USED FEDEX.

Freckle, when you received your passport back did it mention what other documents you need to bring for landing aside from your passport and CoPR?
I have read from other thread on this forum that some border officers are asking for proof of address such bank statement or work permit,
and proof of funds.
