Return tracker finally got activated today at 18:18 ottawa time! It took them a month! Hoping to get the pp back by Friday and do landing on Saturday :D

I read somewhere in this forum that CIC only checks their PO Box once in a month, so you are recommended to send it to the courier address...I'm not sure if that's true though (plus the Canada Post employee told me to send it to the PO Box address...). My passport was delivered to the PO Box...

Was anyone's return tracker activated today? Still waiting here :(

My passport was sent on Sep 29 and received by Ottawa on Sep 30, but the return trcaker is not activated yet.

No, nothing yet, mine was sent on Sep 29 and delivered on Sep 30. I don't think they update eCAS for receiving/returning the passport though. The next time you will see an update on eCAS is when they start processing your PR card application after landing as far as I know. And I think Yayita...

I think as long as you are sending by Canada Post you should send it to the PO Box address, isn't it? I was advised so by the Canada Post staff, so I sent mine (Priority envelope) to the PO Box address, and it was delivered on Sep 30 with signature. But since Adi7 says his ExpressPost envelope...

Hi Freckle, just wondering if CIC sent you any instruction for landing with the passport return mail? I am hoping to do landing as soon as I receive my passport back, so I want to make sure I have all the necessary documents prepared in advance. Thanks a lot!
