Passports sent to Ottawa in March 2015

Passport sent today, March 4, to Ottawa from Winnipeg!

Should reach CIC by Friday, March 6.

Will let you know when:
Passports received by Ottawa;
Return tracking number activated;
Passports received back in Winnipeg.

I got PPR yesterday March 3rd. I sent my passport today.
CIC will get it Tomorrow - March 5th

I posted this question in another thread, but I think this would be a more relevant thread. Can anyone tell me whether the CanadaPost Express Post envelopes should be addressed to the PO Box address or the Laurier Avenue address when sending passport to Ottawa?
The guy at CanadaPost told me to address it to PO Box address, and not the courier. But my friend who sent the passport 2 weeks back had sent those to the Laurier Avenue address and received her passport back in 8 working days. I sent it to the PO Box address but a little confused. ???

I would not send it to P O box. If you want a signed receipt and want to track it, it will have to be the actual address provided express post service offers that. Check Canada post website and it should indicates that.

But the Canada Post guy insisted that I not use the Laurier Avenue physical address. Argh! Hoping it does not act against me now.

Could it be that you addressed your CanadaPost XpressPost envelopes to the PO Box Address and not the Courier Address?

well my xpresspost was received on the 17th feb. and since then no updates on canada post tracking website.

I sent mine earlier this morning to the PO Box address (not the courier address). Since then, I have spoken to quite a few people here at my work and general opinion has been that PO Box sent passports take a little while longer. If you send the xpresspost to courier address it gets processed much faster as it is delivered to a person, and not a PO Box which is cleared periodically.
