Passports sent to Ottawa in March 2015

Hi,
Did any one call CIC today for passport return? I called but they denied to give any information except they have my Passport that's all. Pls share
I think it is not a lucky day for me. I am expecting passport return next week.

My passport recieved by CIC on March 3. I didn't call CIC because I think it's a waste of time and extra stress if they answer positive then we relax otherwise more stress. I don't know what to do except for waiting !!!!

can anyone explain when u put in 1888-242-2100 number what option to choose from.

There is no trick, call them exactly after 8.00 AM your time. They will pick the call without asking any information. If time goes on during the day it will get very busy.

Congrats sundip. Mine was recieved on March 4. Didn't hear anything. I don't know how CIC works. Really stressing and frustrating. :-\

Thank you very much for your kind wishes bethanasame, ind23, and japy77. I could have possibly not kept my sanity without the help of all you awesome people. Pinoybrat and Japy77, if I know one thing about CIC, it is that they are very unpredictable. While there is no one that can really answer where in the passport processing stage your passports are (not even cic call centre) , the only thing that will help is hearing from someone there that your passport is with them. I took bethanasame's advice and called them today. They would only tell me that they have my passport but at least I knew it's not in some loraas disposal truck. Good luck guys I really hope you get it very soon.

well congrats sundip. tell me about the incoming experience at the border. im also going to north portal when i get my passport. tell me one thing, can you just walk across the US border or you need to have a car? any pedestrian lane their.

Absolutely.I will hopefully go to North Portal tomorrow and I plan on parking my car at the duty free shop parking and walk. I will keep an eye out for the answers to your questions and let you know in detail tomorrow as soon as I am back in Regina. Cheers
