At the time of landing at border can I request the Canadian immigration officer to send my PR card on an address different from what CIC have in their records for me ?

My permanent address is still the same in Edmonton but currently I am in Fort McMurray for temporary basis.

Guys please provide your answers and suggestions.

You don't have a room mate that can just forward it on? It can take 20-40 days for you to get the PR card. Probably (imo) best to just send it to your permanent address since it can show up at any time...

Thanks for your kind suggestion Tiguris, it's appreciated.
Yes I have a friend living at that address and to avoid any confusion I should do that way. You are right.

For my passport return address - I put my current address in Fort McMurray on the return Canada Post Envelop, you think that shouldn't be a problem. Correct ?!

I imagine if you're up there another couple weeks it shouldn't. They seem to be quick reading the other messages here. I'm hoping we get ours back this week.

How did u book? And what options did u selected on call Center number...please help....

Call CIC number at 1-888-2422-100 (Follow Dial #2 -> Follow Dial #0) to talk with agent for PR landing appointment. And then agent will contact your local office soon. The local office will give you a call within 1-2 hours to have your schedule time.
