Passport Transit Time - CPP Ottawa

I got my Confirmation of Permanent of Resident today, but the issue that the CSQ number given in the document is old. As I got new CSQ when i applied CSQ for my wife which I already sent to Ottawa office. Now I just need to confirm still I am able to land in Canada or I need to correct the CSQ number

It will tell you that they cannot connect you because of the volume of call. Just keep on trying, eventually you will get connected.

They say that unless it is really urgent like medical reason, death in the family, etc. (with supporting documents), they cannot expedite. And a prebooked flight or vacation is not an urgent reason. That's what they emailed to me.

do you get any email when the status on your cic account is change to approved? And after how many days of status change you receive your passport?

Ming, you are lucky. May I asked when your status was changed to approved? Mine was received on Nov 7th too, and it was changed to approved on Nov 24. I just called them, they said it should be mailed next Tuesday, Dec 5th.

I am really worried because I have an international flight on Dec 12th, since post offices do not work on weekends. If I do not see the tracker being activated by next Wednesday, I will be crazy.

Hi my status changed to approved on 17 November. And actually they put my passport in the mail room on November 25 which is Saturday. I am surprised they worked on Saturday. Also they replied my email at 9pm in Ottawa. It is weird.

You can call cic number and the voice mail will tell you if your application has been approved.
But it doesn’t mean your statues will change to approved on your cic account. It takes me 2 weeks to change to approve
