My passport was received by CIC on Oct 11, 2017. Just wondering has anyone received there passport back yet? Or can see the tracking info ?

I had sent the passport by xpress post on Oct 5 but CIC received on Oct 11th. Which is strange and i have travel plans so i'm hoping to hear back from them earliest next week.

Did u try call them and check status? When is yourflight? It taking them long.. 3weeks from the date passport received

I could only get a hold of them once when she said wait until next week. After that i couldn't get a hold of them . I'll call them on Monday morning and see if any luck. And applying from within Canada should not even take more than a week so i'm frustrated.

Let us know what they tell you. Especially about processing time . How do you know they received on Oct 11? From your tracking or did they tell you? I sent mine on oct.6 but guess it was long holiday ans they didnt clear out mail from their P.O. box early

The one time i got hold of CIC was early last week, when they told me they received my passport on Oct 11th. If I get any updates i will let you know and keep me updated as well.

Well I sent my passport on 4 October and it arrived at Ottawa on 6 October. They received it on 10 October but no progress on anything.

I believe it's useless to call them as they aren't to help you in any case.

Hey my application got approved today. Hopefully they will send my passport today )... Finally after 72 days

I think check during evening time. Usually the status get activated at evening.
