My passport received by CIC on 24th. Ottawa VO office. They are taking a week to stamp it on passport that's the trend I could see from other guys.

Hi guys,
I have a quick question. I am in Canada and my hubby is in Pakistan. My lawyers have emailed CPC to get my hubby's passport sent to Islamabad office and mine to Ottawa. Does anyone know when we should expect to hear back from CPC?
And you guys say it take about a week for passports to be stamped and sent back, that correct? From all VO or only Ottawa?

I have thesame experience similar to yours, My spouse is in Nigeria and me in Canada, I am the primary applicant and She the spouse. I was instructed to send my passport to CPC-Ottawa-PR and my hubby to Canadian deputy high commission Ghana. my passport application took about 7 working days processing after it was received. My spouce passport would likely be sent by tomorrow.

Thank you for your response. Did you have to contact CPC to get your spouse passport sent to Ghana or did they just tell you that from the get-go? If you had to contact CPC, how long did they take to get back to you?

Hey guys it turns out that my passport has been sent already since 27/01/2017 and arrived yesterday 30/01/2017. I just checked my mail now. I found my passport. Thanks people.

approved !!! PP arrived 24th, approved today!
