Passports to CPC Ottawa January 2018

Haha....my profile name is homage to our ancestors . Anyhow, yes, I'm from US and my FedEx delivery is scheduled for tomorrow before 10:30AM local time.

PPR: 25-April-2018
passport sent: 4-May-2018
passport received:8-May-2018
CIC account Approved: 15-May-2018
Return track activated: 15-May-2018
Passport Received: 16-May-2018

This question is for those who have rcvd COP:
Once they ask for PPR your additional documents status hoes back to additional documents required. Right?
Once they rcv your passport then the additional docs goes to reviewing additional docs right?
And what happens after that?

Not necessarily. My additional document status stayed the same after receiving PPR and didn't change even after COPR.

For example, where and how do they inform about application approval while processing passport? I have seen ppl spelling out those steps but wonder is it mycic or ecas to look for those updates.
Will highly appreciate your answer.

For inland applicants i guess 7 days is standard waiting time for counterfoil which is visa. Your case will be shown approved in final decision row.
Once u get that i think u will get n email saying return tracker activated. However, since i havent got that yet n waiting for d samr after application approval stage so cant be sure of it as well.
Those who have been through this will be able to clarify this question.

Regarding the passport submission, all communication was done through email with VFS (i choose to go through them instead of sending it through post). But they never informed me of the status whether approved or not until I actually received the actual package back with the passport stamped and the COPR letters.

In my case, IRCC updated my profile much much later, saying that the application has been completed. Other people reportedly get their profiles updated much earlier, so I guess it depends.

Well, i have my application approved now as d passports r with VO. Counterfoil numbers r all shown in mycic account.
But little puzzled with the two fields in my application where it is shown to upload all my passports including all pages with marks. But i didnt see or notice it before. Now that my passports r with VO i cant do anything. Sent them a mail explaining with ni reply yet.
However, in some of d threads i read that these fields are for visa exempt countries n we dont need to worry.
Also thinking if those were mandatory then d application wouldnt get approved.
Its all so confusing at times.
Now waiting for d return tracker to get activated as that will clear all confusion.
Pls tell me that i sm going in the right direction.

The thing is there was no request for the digital upload but i saw those fields are open. My ppr mail didnt mention any upload and instructions specific to my country doesn't have any mention of that either.
And yes i have already sent an email on that.

hi quick question, inland application, is that the whole process over after getting back the passport and COPR? I mean no need to "landed", right? And how about the PR card? Should we need to apply for that? or they will send with the COPR?
