passport submission

Hi all,

I have already paid RPRF,
I have read that the next step is submitting passport when requested.

I am from india - currently working in Saudi arabia - riyadh. Will I have to submit my passport back home in India or it can be done from indian embassy in saudi arabia.

Please advice

i dont tink u need all this, the best tin u can do there is send it to CIC via Fedex, UPS, or curier, u attech the adress, at worse 1 week it will get there, there is no reason for you going to any embasy again

CIC means where? Inland visa office ottawa? One needs to send to particular visa office where your case is dealt or the visa office mentioned in passport request email.
Per law, Indian passports cant be sent outside the country by post.

Which is your visa office? Why are you talking about submitting passport to Indian embassy?
Are you talking about stamping from Canada then you should send to the embassy/location you are given in your passport request email. It would be to the visa office your case is dealt with or the location specified in your email for passport submission. If you or anyone of your family member is not in that country of your visa office when you receive that email then you will be given instructions in that email to request them to change the visa office to get it stamped based on your current location. Changing is matter of days delay but nothing to worry about sending it soon. get it changed and send it to local location.

were stil saying thesame tin, since its indian visa office thats handling ur application, i dont tink its a good idea to now send ur passport to indian embassy in saudi,

what am trying to say is that instead of him traveling back to indian, that he can send it tru fedex

Hello all,

I have same situation. I got the ready for visa email from CIC and they told me to submit the passport of mine and my family in India within 30 days.
As Me and my family are in Europe. We had a baby here recently (we have update child information already express entry). However It will not be possible to submit the passport within 30 days as my child has not yet received her visa. We are still process of getting the but it will take time.

Can I alone go and submit passport for all three of us? How much time it will take for visa stamping in India?

Or it is possible to change the Visa office location from India to nearby location in Europe? To whom we have to request for this change?

Any guidance on this matter will be really helpful.

After you have paid the RPRF, you will be asked for your passports through a confirmation of PR or passport request letter. This letter will state where you need to send your passports to. From Saudi Arabia, You will need to send your passports to the Canadian Visa Office in Abu Dhabi. No need to send it to Canada. The Abu Dhabi Office accepts passports from VFS or Aramex.
