My passport was delivered on July 4th - called CIC yesterday agent told me "the officer is printing your visa, making sure everything is right"
The agent never said the application status is now approved though.

I was wondering if anyone could share their experiences about calling CIC and hearing the visa is printing? Not sure how long this might take and what the next steps are after that...

Any good thoughts to share would give me peace of mind. Thanks!

Congratulations I think today or tomorrow your application should be approved. Keep checking your Return Tracker daily You will see something sure in the next few days.

Also, I thought they normally change the status to Approved before printing the visa... but based on your reply, it looks like it's the opposite? They print the visa and COPR and change the status after?

My application was approved on July 22 for passport delivered on July 2, and I received my passport today.

Except for the COPR and passport, there is a letter in French.... I don't understand French at all. : (
It seems to be some guidelines on permanent resident visa according to google translate.

Does anyone receive the letter in English? Can you please share?

Yes they change the status after Printing COPR, visa and then update the visa details in the system and change status to approved
