I don't have dependents. opnp although I think Ontario was the slowest. depends when u did medical, if you had rcmp doc request etc. it will come soon.
It took 16 days to get medical received status after medical and one week after that for ppr. Yes u need to if u r from non-visa exempt country. my passport expires in jan 2016. that's ok, cic knows that. They will issue PR visa (if from non-visa exempt country) and copr based on passport expiry date.soriano177 said:i am electrical engineer PNP by Alberta. my MR almost 2 weeks ago. and i am my wife and me..

Congratulationsindocanadian13 said:So Finally yesterday night I became a PR of Canada at lewiston bridge (Niagara falls) side of USA.
I went to USA for some shopping at Fashion outlet malls. Returned to Canada border at 10:45 PM. The officers at Canadian were extremely nice. I parked my car, went inside, the lady asked my PP and CopR and asked me write the address where my PR card should be sent.
Then she asked me to sit. After 2 minutes she called me and said u r now a PR of Canada and told me some usual stuff (health card, sin, etc..)
She did not asked me any other question and she did not even requested any other documents. Not even my work permit.
The process literally took 5 minutes inside the Canadian office. Nobody else was there. It was very smooth and quite.
If anyone has any questions, feel free to PM me. Will try to reply ASAP.
God bless all. ;D ;D ;D ;D
yes. Within in 10 days.mobhrdwj said:Congratulations
Thanks for sharing, I am hoping to receive my PP this week. it reached there on 23.
Congratulations !!! Finally it is done for you. I am happy for you that it went very smoothly least t the very end step of PR. I am planning to do my landing tomorrow in Sarnia border. I heard somewhere that sometimes they might ask you about the bank statement. In your case, did they ask anything about money to you? I m hoping it goes smoothly tomorrow.indocanadian13 said:So Finally yesterday night I became a PR of Canada at lewiston bridge (Niagara falls) side of USA.

Don't worry buddy. Sometimes it takes longer than usual. This is how CIC works. I am sure u will get tracker activated by Friday. If once they have requested ur PP, they can't refuse u PR.mj_paredes said:Nothing again for me today. I am so worried that my passport was not delivered to the right office or it was already returned but canadapost lost it or worst case my PR has been refused.
I am on the verge of crying now. :'( :'( :'(
Try calling CIC first thing tomorrow morning. They can tell you if it has been stamped and not mailed .mj_paredes said:Nothing again for me today. You can get SIN as soon as you land . They need the copy of COPRjiaojiao said:Just did landing today at Peace Arch Border! It was a long wait while the actual processing time was like 1 minute. The officer was very nice. She asked my savings in Canada but did not ask for a bank statement.
I got a question here, does anyone know whether we should wait for the PR card to get the new SIN or can we just go apply for new SIN with the landing paper?
Thanks
