It has been 1 year since I applied for my federal pr .Any idea when I am going to get Passport request?? ,I applied for federal Pr in January.

You should try to call the CIC agent. Also, same time please request the GCMS notes so in this you will get the more idea where & what stage your application is sitting..

Depends on where your VO is. Ottawa VO currently takes anywhere from 1-3 weeks.

Hi, I've received a mail from canada immigration(CIC - CPCMississauga) saying that to finalize my PR application i'll have to submit my passport, does that mean my PR is approved now? that's why they've requested passport for visa printing but i am just curious to know if this is the last stage of my dependent spouse PR application or there will be any further formalities. If so then can anyone please let me know how long it will take as i wanted to fly canada as soon as possible.
