passport request

Hi,
I got the ready for visa email which is great but I have a couple of question on how to finalize the application.
My application was processed in Ottawa and I'm currently in Canada. The email says to send the things to Vienna though (I'm Dutch). I sent an email to Vienna with some questions and they redirected me to Ottawa. Ottawa hasn't answered yet. Where would you guys send the things?

The pictures I sent with the application are the same size as they request now, am I correct to understand that I don't have to send new pictures?
In that case, can I email a scanned copy of my passport? (I do have a new one).

I am married July 2nd so after I'll send the requested things but before I'll do my landing. Do I update family status now or when I do the landing?

Hope you guys can help me. If not, any suggestions how I can talk to a human about this? I tried calling but don't get past the robot lady.

If your application is being processed in Ottawa, then communication needs to go through ottawa. Generally, people who have their application processed in Ottawa receive notification about how to send it to ottawa. What notification did you get? What email address was it sent by?

1. were new pictures requested? Read the request letter carefully. These are form letters to all applicants, so it's not all relevant to your applicaiton. Look for words like "If...".

2. did you get a passport request? if so, then yes you should be emailing a scanned copy of your passport. generally, you just need to reply to the email sent.

3. What application did you submit? Did you get approved for commonlaw and are now getting married? if so, this doesn't have any affect on your PR, so you don't need to update CIC, they consider your future wife your spouse already since they have approved them as the sponsor. Usually, this request is referring to when there was a child born before landing who will need to be approved for pr.

I would suggest you send Ottawa an email and let them know that Vienna is not convenient for you and if you can send it to Ottawa instead. You will have to take new pictures as well. As CDNPR2014 said read the email carefully.

When I received my passport request a week ago they asked to have the passport sent to Ottawa, however that is not where we had to send it as my husband is living back home. So my representative emailed Ottawa to get new instruction as to where to send it and we were given instruction to send it to his Visa Office.
