Hi guys, beforehand I want to thank anyone who can help me out.

I am going through the bogota visa office and I just got my passport request. Should I send it in a return per-paid envelope?

not sure about the bogota vo, if they didn't express suggest it in your request letter, i would still send a prepaid courrier envelope to them. this way you know that it will be returned via courrier (ie. faster) than regular mail (i don't think they send pp via regular mail anyway).

Hi Dani,

We just received our passport request and are very excited. Which courier did you use in Bogota to get a prepaid return envelope? We live near the embassy and are thinking of handdelivering our passports. Did you mail your passports in? Which courier service did you use to mail them in?

Thanks!

Hi, congratulations! For sure do not use servientrega! I used DHL and it was 20,000 for both the way there and the way back. If I were you I would hand deliver it if possible because DHL didn't deliver in my area in my city so they have it to servientrega when it reached here and it took them a day after I knew it was already in the city.

Good luck! Btw I got it back yesterday it took them exactly 10 working days to mailed back!

Congrats!!! When/where are you planning to land?

Thanks so much for the advice. I will check on DHL to see how to purchase a prepaid return envelope...That is great to know that it only took 10 days to get your passport back. I hope we get our passports back soon too.

I just want to post for everyone going through the Bogota VO that I purchased the DHL prepaid return through the VAC located at 122 and 19th. Costs approximately 12500 pesos.
