Passport Request (PR) how much time to get back?

Hi everyone,

CIC OTTAWA requested my passport for finalization of my PR application, It was delivered to them on April 19th, I am flying overseas on the 28th, I havent heard back from them yet!!! Although I have sent them an email with the itinerary !!
How much time doe it usually take to get my passport back? Should I re-schedule my flight?? ???

Hi - I was in the similar situation and have to reschedule my trip since i didn't get back my passport on time. You can try your luck by raising the CSE with the itinerary or sending them the mail...if not there is no other option left other than rescheduling your trip. Good luck

It takes from 15 ~ 17 + shipping to get your passports back.

In my case, it took almost 4 weeks to received passport and copr. If you still haven't got passport before April 26, you should re-schedule your flight.

this is frustrating, I though it takes less than a wk as the usual visa renewal process. They cant hold our passports for so long!!! what if someone has to fly urgently!!!
