Passport Request (Old & New Passport ?)

Hi,

I received request to send passport for the visitor visa stamping. I have an expired and a new passport. Do I need to send both the passports or only the new passport ?

Also please confirm the LA Consulate address. Found this address from the link provided in the passport request email.

Ask yourself, why would you need to send the expired passport?

Only the new one.

I was not sure, maybe they might need expired passport to verify my travel history, visas, etc. Hence the question.

Not a possibility. Your visa has been approved which means no further "verifying" is needed.

Read carefully your email. Follow the instructions to the letter.

The CIC website is very confusing. Last week I have sent my passport to

But they returned it, asking me to send it VAC center. which is in EL SEGUNDO, CA. I had to send it again yesterday.

Now, that I read the instructions again, it seems correct. They have mentioned following "For holders of diplomatic or official passports only : Submit your passport at the visa office", for others they have mentioned "Submit your passport at the visa application centre". I think I will send my PP to NY Consulate.
