Passport question about my wife's application

She has never had a passport in her life, will she need one for me to send in the application or can I send it in and haver her get one when she gets approved ?

I looked at your post history and see you are the sponsor and she is the applicant. She definitely needs a passport otherwise she would have no way of arriving in Canada. If you read through the application they clearly ask you to provide copies of the passport.

Wait till you find out she needs to do a bunch of other things for the first time in her life, like have a CIC Medical Exam Jokes aside, yes - get the passport! It is one of the required documents for the application.
