Passport Less than six months valid while waiting for TRV

Hi all, I applied for a TRV in Jan 2022 and still waiting. My passport now has less than 6 months validity.

I am going to start the renewal process of my passport. If/when the time comes and I am requested to send my passport for TRV visa stamping. will it be a problem if I send my new passport instead of my current almost expired one? My current passport is what's been used in my application.
