Passport issue/ work permit

Hi guys,

My old expired passport number is ruplicated on my 3 years work permit document. The passport has expired but my work permit is still valid untill November 2022. I received my new passport just few days ago. Do I have to renew my work permit again based on the new passport I have now.

no. I was in the same boat a few months ago. I was always worried I will face problems when renewing my work permit. But nothing happened, and it was all fine.
Make sure to travel with both the passports if you are leaving Canada.
