Hello,

I am starting the process of citizen application and I have a query regarding the expiry date of the passport. During the 5-year eligibility period, all of my family members have had 2 passports. We have had the second passport issued a couple of months prior to the expiry of the first passport. Say e.g. if the passport # 1 was to expire on March 31, 2022, got the passport # 2 issued by Jan 15, 2022.

In the application form there is a table that asks for passport expiry date, for passport # 1, should I mention the original expiry that was mentioned (March 31, 2022) or a day before the new passport was issued i.e. Jan 14, 2022.

thanks in advance for the answer!

Put the actual dates on the documents. Don't adjust them.
