Hi Everyone,

Does Canada have 6 months passport validity policy? I am planning to travel to India on 8th June and come back on 24th June. Both my passport and work permit (and visa counterfoil expires on 31st july ) expires on 4th November 2018 which is less than 6 months. Will that create any problem travelling back to Canada?

Regards,
Minhaj

If your passport is expiring within six months, you can re-enter Canada if you have a valid permit (e.g., study or work permit) and a valid visa or eTA. However, some airlines or border officials may require your passport to be valid for longer. It's safer to renew your passport before traveling.
