Hi
I sponsor my wife from Bangladesh Last year 2014. On April 20 she received a letter from Singapore visa office
requesting the passport in order to issue the visa. The letter was issued on February 17 2015 for some reason was sent on 9 April 2015 as per the date on envolop.
she went in canadian visa office in sylhet 21 April 2015 and refusedan to keep the passport due to 60 days time frame.
We are now trying to contact with singapore. I emailed them few times but no response :(
my wife also sent a mail on 22 April to the high commissioner in singapore.
does any one have any idea. We are worried.

E-mail the VO with the heading "Urgent". Also have the sponsor contact their MP in Canada, they may be able to get things done. Keep proof (the envelope) that the item was sent late.

Thank u. I went to a mp they are working on it we also sent an mail to singapore.
I already emailed 4 5 times. should I send another 1. Thnx

@topmou. That sucks! Why didn't they just send you the passport request in an email. The MP's correspondence with SVO should definitely help. Also sending an email with URGENT in the subject line is an excellent idea. Did the letter specifically tell you to send the passport to VFS in Sylhet? I have seen some people send their passports directly to Singapore through FEDEX / DHL. What did the letter actually say? Also did your eCAS status change? Hopefully you will get a possible response soon. Best of luck.

E Cas changed to in process on February 4th.
letter says secure way to send the passport is by Canadian visa office center and the courier that don't have the visa center can send their passport by registerd mail. My wife Sent a DHL mail to singapore to notify Them.
I don't know why they dont reply my email.

Thank you!! Urgent on subject worked. I finally got an email with another letter.
now my will send the passport.
on that letter it also says her visa will expire on June 2.
now paying we get the passport as soon as possible.
