My first time too. I have a friend in the UK that got their counterfoil last week. It pops up on GCkey. Document section. When the counterfoil is generated then they will ship out the passport couple of days after.

@xhxixffxy247 Do you know how long after counterfoil exactly did they ship passport back? I need the passport for some documentation reasons in 3 weeks and trying to have an estimate
The process in the UK is faster. They use VFS service. They got their passport back in 1 week after submission. Ottawa office is the slowest from what I know.
Unfortunately I got an email today saying "new photos required" (2 weeks after my passport was delivered). I honestly don't why they were rejected (i went to a photo studio last time). Anyways, I've retaken the photos and even measured them with a ruler LOL so hopefully they accept the new ones.
The new photos should reach Ottawa tomorrow.
Same thing happened to me. Almost a month after passport was delivered. New photos got to them last Thursday. Still waiting on update.
I don't have this number. I was told this best time to call is very early. Does this number go directly to the Ottawa office?nopedo you know if there's any way we can contact them? I tried calling IRCC +1 (800) 267-6788 but all agents are busy
it's not the direcr number but this number can direct you to ottawa ircc - it will give you an option
I just checked tracker. It got updated to passport/travel documents received today. Hopefully counterfoil soon before the end of the week.

I've tried calling, raising webforms and emailing but no definitive response. Webforms replies are very generic. It's a very stressful situation as I am permanently leaving the US end of May - my flight back home is scheduled for May 30th and my lease also ends on that date...Similar threads
