I was just wondering if I can use any port of entry when importing my car. But I did speak to RIV and they said I can enter through any port.

Same here, passport sent for visa stamping to CPC Ottawa and waiting for it. Delivered to office on 22nd December.
Same here. The passport was delivered on Dec 22, and the counterfoil was generated on Jan 12. My return tracker hasn't been activated yet. Waiting to receive the passport in the mail.
I got my PPR from CIO asking me to submit passports to CPC(O). However, I'm currently in the U.S.
I had emailed the VO to change the office to the one in NYC as that would be convenient for me. They had changed and responded that I can go ahead and submit there with revised instructions. Submitted the passports on Jan 20th and it got delivered to the VFS office in NYC yesterday ...

I received my COPR on Wednesday (1/19) and my return tracker is not activated. Soo worried...
Ah got it ... so we gotta actually email the office that issued the PPR to check the status periodically then ...

Ah Nice , I din know you could do that , I still sent our passports to Ottawa , I live in PA. Do you know if the Processing times are faster in NYC ?
I'm a citizen of India and as per Indian Passport Law, I'm not supposed to send the passport outside the country where I'm residing by mail. I cited this reason and asked them to change the VO.
I live in NJ and provided my present address to the CIO office when I emailed them. Looks like the VO to which they will send the revised passport submission instructions is dependent on how close you're to the nearest VO. As you're in PA, I'm thinking they would ask you to send to the one in NYC.
As far as the processing times go, I'm not sure what exactly it is now. When I searched in multiple forums like this canadavisa, myimmitracker etc I see may have got in one to two weeks. And for few it took more than a month as well.
