I don't understand why everyone is questioning each other's answer. Different steps in the process have different rules. Yes, when uploading the passport for the PR application only pages with stamps, markings, etc need to be uploaded. PPR is a different story, here they explicitly say "all pages". In each step, just read what they ask you to do and then do it. Not more, not less.
Do you mean to write PNP instead of PPR?

No. Below is from CIC EE cheklist:

Document: Passports/Travel Documents (Multiple)

You must provide a clear, legible copy of your valid passport.
Include a copy of the page that shows your birth date, country of origin, etc. any pages with stamps, visas or markings. If you are a citizen or permanent resident of the United States, a citizen of Denmark living in Greenland, or a citizen of France living in St. Pierre and Miquelon, you are not required to present a passport. You may present an identity document. Your identity document must show proof of status or citizenship as well as photo identification. Your identity document must include your name, photo, date of birth, document number, and the issue and expiry dates. This document must be issued by your country of citizenship or permanent residence. You must ensure that the identity document you present provides proof of status or citizenship and photo identification. If not, you must scan all necessary identity documents and save them under one identity document file.
Ok so here's a dumb question. Should I scan the page where there is my signature on passport? For CIC, not OOPNP. Does "markings" define signatures?

The letter requesting the passport/copies of passport (visa exempt countries do not need to send the actual passport) clearly state that we are supposed to include blank pages.

Just scan the whole thing if you are not sure. There is no way you can send them too many pages of your passport. All these posts, it would actually be much quicker to just scan the bloddy thing.

I assume you haven't been invited to apply yet. Once you have been invited and you start your PR application you will upload your passport and all the other documents. It will clearly say what part pages of the passport to upload.

Hi..

I am getting my translations done to be prepared for an ITA once received... since I have to get the translations from Canada, so I thought I should start early.

Therefore, along with marriage certificate, I was also going through my passport.

I have expired/cancelled UAE residence visas that are purely in arabic... so should I translate those? and I have many stamps before they used to write "ENTRY" or "EXIT" on the stamp...I lived in UAE so I have 1000s of these stamps everytime I entered or left the country randomly scattered around... so 1 page will have 6 stamps, all have english words except 1 random old stamp..... they only started writing "EXIT" or "ENTRY" in english a couple of years ago.

Should I be getting these translated?

What about my husband? I am the PA...
Will we need all his passport stamps translated as well? I want to do everything together in one time rather than too much unnecessary back and forth because I finally found an Ontario approved translator...

Please advise...

thanks

I have a question concerning that topic. I changed my passport last year. Should I scan the pages with stamps from my old passport since they ask for the travel history and all?
Please scan previous passports where you have stamps and visas, to support your travel history records. Note however, that when you are filling the section under passport / id documents, you will not be able to enter the passport details for an obsolete passport. But to support your travel history record, scan bio page, and all pages with stamps, visas, and markings.

All the best

you should listen to yourself more :)

I've just been approved for PR, and my PPR only asked for the photo page and any amendments from my passport!

But can anyone confirm if all pages of passport are needed at any stage during the process? From initial submission of EE profile until final PR?

tx

You will need to send passport itself.

That will be for stamping at the end, correct?

What about scanned copies of all pages at any point? I'm asking to know if I will need my old visas translated - there isn't a word of English on my old Gulf visa...
I'm getting other translations, so want to know if I should also get this done meanwhile.

thanks

Anyone? should I get all old stamps and visas translated? I have a couple of UAE stamps just 3 months after turning 18 that are in arabic (with english dates though).. the rest all have english.. and an old cancelled visa, but that was from when I was 17 to 20 or so...SO I assume I will need to translate that as well?

No need to translate any stamps or visas. CIC does not require any translation of your stamps and visas. You just need to upload all the bio data pages of your passport along with stamps that should do.

But isn't that just the main page and possibly relationship page at the end? That's only 2 pages of the passport (and I assume a permit to live outside country of citizenship may be required?) so max 3 pages? I have seen so many people saying that all stamps and visas were sent..... so am a bit confused.
