well I'm all about no calories:
2 oz vodka

3 slices of lime
a nice cool refreshing drink the eases the pain of waiting.....
Now here is someone after my own heart ;D I just got introduced to Tom Collins over the past weekend, never thought I would enjoy Gin, but those Tom Collins are mighty easy to take
When it is just me by myself and that is quite a bit, as my wife is in the Philippines with our son while we go through our process like the rest of you. I have a few favorite shows I watch off the net. Follow my Nascar races on the TV (the only thing I own a tv for). I also enjoy scale modeling, and endeavor to keep my place clean - doesn't sound like a whole lot of fun after typing it all out.
Sometimes you get frustrated with the waiting game, (we have been going through this for 17 months now - due to problems with paper work in the Phil's and their very very slow moving system) I used to like going out for a coffee on a weekend morning and sitting outside and watching the rest of the world wake up. But that hasn't been any fun, for the last while, you get tired of sitting there alone. But good news, wifey promised to go for coffee in the morning as well when she gets back
I find myself also passing time here, checking to see if anyone has got their PRR/Visa stamp, a bit of good news even if it is not your own gives you a bit of hope, and makes you feel like that is one more person down and puts your end one more case closer.
Thank god I have work, and my union involvement to keep me busy, work is work, but the Union stuff also supplies some educational opportunities and travel and fellowship with like minded people. That helps with what seems at time to be weeks of repetitive monotony.
