Is it legal to start a partnership business with my Canadian National friend during my stay as visitor or not ?
Can i convert my visit visa in to resident visa after starting a partnership business with Canadian National ?
Can i get Temporary Work Permit during my stay ?

if it was as easy as this then many people would be following the same route. Just buying into a business unless a substantial investment and through the official business visa route would not get PR. Business visas are very expensive, although currently suspended, requiring 2 million cdn investment and 10 million in bank.Start up visas are managed through specific Canadian partners http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/business/start-up/

Personal view but expect no reason why anyone cannot invest in a Canadian business as a visitor as long as they do not carry out any work whilst in Canada. But as said the investment on its own would not guarantee qualifying for a PR visa, and without significant funds if that were still open options are limited to qualifying through one of the individual streams where business investment unlikely to have any influence.

Normally would not recommend but before investing maybe consult an immigration lawyer for professional advice instead of forum input
