Parrent sponsorship family size

I would like to sponsor my parents(mom and dad) and I wanted to calculate the family size
In our household myself, my son and my husband are living.
My husband has his own income and he is independent of me
He wouldn't like to sponsor my family.
So if I wanted to calculate the family size should I exclude him since he has his own income?

You must include your husband. Your family size is 5.

Your husband can act as a co-signer and add his income to yours.

as scylla said, your family size is 5.
The option of having your husband as a co-signer does not change your family size. If he doesn't want to co-sign, you own income needs to meet/exceed the required income for family of 5.
