babak_akbarzadeh said:Hi all,
It's actually 29 days since my SLU and still no PPR. Waiting yet...
Fsasamir said:Your case is different because you were requested to revise your passports.
babak_akbarzadeh said:Actually I informed VO of renewal on August 7. Now considering the SLU on July 15, what do you think of the time I will likely receive my PPR/DM?
Fsasamir said:When did you provide everything VO asked for?
babak_akbarzadeh said:They only asked for sending the photocopies of biographical pages of the renewed passports where the expiration dates are also shown by email which I sent on August 7th.
Fsasamir said:Now, clear. On Jul 15th +2weeks (usually needed to prepare PPR)=you received duplicated request on Jul 29th.
Aug7th +2 to 4weeks= PPR. If AS works this week either then you may hopefully get your PPR this week.

I have a question. I got my SLU and TLU in the first week of June. I have been waiting for PPR since then.(appx. 75 days). My VO is MF.
Do you think that everything is normal? should I wait for a while more?
Thank you all.

I have landed two days ago. It was completely fantastic. Not only landing procedures; everything is going very smooth and fast. Canadians are very kind and helpful.
I dont know if it is applicable to everybody, I have just waited 2 minutes in passport control, 5 minutes on immigration desk, 2 minutes for SIN number and 5 minutes for custom. Thats all. It was faster than all my entrances to my home country.
Next day I opened a bank account and got a mobile phone number, fought with jet lag.
Now I am trying to solve my permanent address.
Good luck all of you!!
