Babak hi,

I doubt your current circumstances may affect processing of your application. AS is putting "We started processing your application" update in ECAS only after docs return from Security Check. As you know security check is final stage of background check. Therefore, all background verification are already done for sure.

You should receive your PPR within max 3weeks time from the time of SLU.

I am well familiar about AS because he is my IO either.

Hi Fsasamir,

Thanks a million and +1 for sharing your information. This was the best news I've heard these days.

Hope you the bests,
Babak.

Hello Guys,,

SLU : 22-Jun

Hello everyone

After reading your posts I got a little panic.
Here is my timeline:

We received your application for permanent residence on August 11, 2014.
We started processing your application on February 19, 2015.
Medical results have been received.

Medical checks, PR payment were asked on 20 Jan 2015. They also asked me for new police certificates, which I have sent them. Since March 2015, I haven't heard back from them.

I realise that after the MR, you tend to receive the passport request very quickly, which isn't my case. According to the Paris VO timeline, the time for them to process is 9 months, which means I can't contact them before November 2015.

So frustrating to wait...

lynkcus,
Do not panic. Every file processing is unique and have it's own circumstances according to your visa officer. Some people get their PPR soon after MR, some late. I am in a similar situation as yours. So again, do not panic. Everything seems ok now for you.

Hi brk09

Thanks for your encouraging messages!

BTW you can check visa officers' average timelines (on page 20) and predict your PPR time. If you think there is a problem after that you can submit a CSE to Paris VO.

Best.

Hey Guys,,

The golden email has arrived today,,,,,,,,,, PPR..

Wish you all the best
