It's probably a good news! PP request.. since they didnt ask for an interview.

Hi everyone

Same question than NOLM.

French citizen
application sent on November 26th 2015 to Mississauga
Sponsorship application approved on February 8th 2016
File sent in Paris on February 12th 2016
RPRF paid on March 25th 2016
"decision made" appears on my profile on April 13th 2016.

So what is next? Will CIC send me an email/letter to me or my partner?

hi evryone, im from Algeria we belong to paris office(proccessing time 8 months), i applied in 18 august 2015 i send all the documents including medical test and we paid the fees when we send the file, in january they contacted me and asked me for new police check because the first one was expired, in 2 march they called me for interview i gave them pictures, hotel bills and phone bill and hangout history, and now it's been 8 months + 1 day and no answer yet, do you think it's normal or fair ?

I did not receive my AOR email. but since I saw your timeline; I decided to give CIC a call. So the lady I talked to over the phone took my client ID, which was at least 15 years old.. i was shock it worked... and all my phone numbers, name and address.
She told me they received my application on March 29.. that's it.. does that mean it's an AOR? no clue.. lol..
no email or letter from CIC.

Haven't seen any updates on here in quite a while... anybody have any news to post?

Still hoping to see "Decision Made" or PPR... that AOR2 was April 4th... but who knows, could be months

True ! There are no so many updates here about Paris timeline.
So I give mine !

We apply commonlaw outside Canada.

Our application was received in Mississauga on March 1st. They began to process on march 24th.
Our lawyer (we hired one because of my dependants in France and my ex wife...) sent an email received from CIC explaining that my partner met the requirements to sponsor me. This email is dated from April 14th. They also said that my application has been sent to Paris VO.

On the CIC website, they are still showing in process for him.... no DM, but actually it's done for him.
On my side, they add in process from April 15th, but no update more since that day.

By the way, how do they signify AOR 1 or 2 ? Am I AOR 2 now ?

There was never really an "official" AOR 2 for us. We received the "third line" on the applicant side of things. Indicating they are now processing the app.

I'm not 100% sure that it is AOR2, however based on what others have told me here and what I've read, it is.. on the PR Applicant side of things it says for us:

We received XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX's application for permanent residence on January 7, 2016.
We started processing XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX's application on April 1, 2016.
Medical results have been received.

So as far as I know that is AOR2, but again, not 100% sure.

since they didn't ask you for an interview.. this is usually a good news. waiting for PP request soon.. wow.. you are lighting fast.
