Hi guys,

A quick question..

When you send the visa office additional requested documents by email... Do you send them a scan of the document in the original language and also a scan of the translated/certified document ?
Or do you only send them a scan of the translated/certified copy ?

MP informed us that our file is all Ok and it's in que for senior visa officer to review and finalize it so it's been a month now for that inquiry too and no reply from visa office Paris and now few days ago on Saturday I sent the email and they informed this which I mentioned in that post!

hi MishaNabeel
i wanted to tell you about the reason why you application took longer time but i am not sure , but the only reason i think of its because the processing time of visa office in pakasitain ( home country) take around 28 months if i remember comparing of paris ( 8 months ).
because you are the only one in paris visa office who his application exceeded the time frame .
all applicants who applied after you after through visa office got their visa even applicants from december .
so if you think about it for a while maybe its the reason they were lazy with your applications .

Hi Forja
You might be right but the thing is my application is processing in Paris though my home country is Pakistan and cic choose this Paris visa office! Yet if they wanted they could have chose Islamabad Pakistan visa office for me but they didn't anyway still your point is valid !!

yes its true they choose paris visa office for you on ground of your current country of residence , but its paris visa office who is working on your application and bearing in mind islamadad procesing time .
but anyway you are lucky though they sent it to paris at least they waived the interview and finalize it already .

Congrats Vera!!

Is it "in process" or "decision Made"?

If its "in Process" you still have to wait for it to change to "decision made" and then usually 2 weeks after it changes to decision made you will get your CORP (I am still waiting for mine)

RYIT : Only says 1- We received M.....'s RP demand on December 5th
2- We started to treat M.....'s demand May 28th
3- Medicals received
which means it is In process...but at the same time if you look at the explanation on e-cas , when medical is received a decision is made (i am sorry I have it in French so I am not sure of the translation). What I mean is in "Decision made" you have 3 levels/points : 1. medical received, 2. aprobation or reject of the demand and 3. determination of your status (with we will send you a letter...)
I would guess I am at 2. aprobation or reject of your demand.
3. is in fact when they send you the letter.
My guess based on my understanding.
I would say a month or two before I receive the CORP. It would be perfect. It would leave me enough time to move and get the kids at school on time.

I would say you are definitely "in process". When I sign in to the English site there are also 4 points. The 4th being "a decision has been made and the office will contact you concerning this decision".

I think that you will get decision made in the next week or two and your COPR in a month. I am praying for your application to be finished processing quickly so you and your family can get settled in Canada in time for the school year!

I have updated the December spreadsheet for you, the Paris one was already updated.

Can anyone help me me understand .. my ecas show application received on 15 dec 14 and medicals received and when i sent cic a mail they replied back telling me that my application was in process on 12th may... but havent seen any update on ecas yet!!! this is just so frustrating ....

RYit : Thanks! Please keep praying :D

Rocky30 : Welcome to our world of frustration. Good thing you already know your application is "in process"; remeber that some agent won't change e-cas until the very end just to say "decision made";
It is not mandatory; anyway it is never very acurate. See my e-cas changed today to say my application is in process since May 28th!
My advice : pray if you are a believer, have friends praying for you, learn patience...On my side I wish yu GOOD LUCK ;)
Keep us inform please

I would try not to obsess over ECAS to much. My ECAS never showed "medical results have been received", or "in progress". Overnight it all went to "decision made" and "medical results have been received"

There are many others who's ECAS never showed in process.

I have added you to the Paris spreadsheet Rocky30

Rocky30 you and I have the exact same dates for when the application was received by CIC, AOR and SA....

COPR just arrived!!!!

We will be landing this weekend at the closest U.S.A boarder, I will update how it goes.

Congratulation Ryit!
