I'm in the same situation. My Ecas shows IP since the 18 of August (only 7 days with the change) and also only two lines there: app received and med received. The curious thing is that the part of my partner (the sponsor) is also IP, however we received the SA letter (approved) in August 11. It's so confusing, and actually I'm not sure if this IP in the PRP means something...

Hi everyone! We sent our application to Mississauga on August 4 and it was received August 6. No AOR yet, but it's great to pass the time by reading everyone else's experiences.
It looks like there are changes in the way VOs are dealing with ECAS updates now.
They are updating the status to "In process" from the moment they receive your file in the VO. Not like before where it was updated to "IP" when you pass the marrage and criminal checks!
What do you think ?
When I look at the notes that I rceived last month, it says clearly that my file was received by Paris VO in May 18, 2015.
The same date that the ECAS has now as a start of the process date.
That may expalin why everyone is getting an IP status in the past two days. I guess that all of us has that third line in thier ECAS now

I looked a little closer at the time from SA to DM... and mostly everyone on the spreadsheet is around 2 months. So I'm going to focus on that instead of IP and the usual time of 3 weeks until DM... So hopefully by end of September, I'll hear something. =)

I have a third line as well where it says they started processing on June 19th 2015.
I believe that the ones with the line where it says processing in May should normally receive an answer soon then.

Hi guys an irrelevant topic here
I found some apartment on Craigslist which are newly renovated very nice and clean outstanding 1 or 2 bedroom apartments near square one in Mississauga Toronto
These are listed just for $700 I am afraid is it really possible
Does anybody have any information on this topic! Please share
Also I did check on kijiji listings and lots of them the basements are listed but they are asking for 1st and last month rents in advance! And it will be hard for me to arrange that amount by just stepping to canada
Any suggestions will be highly appreciated thanks.

As the saying goes "When it's too good to be true, it usually is", in this case I am quite confident it is, especially considering that they are asking for a payment in advance.
Best way to verify if it is a scam is to ask them about the method of payment. If they reply back with stuff like Western Union or PayPal, you can be guaranteed about it.
A 1-2 bedroom appartment in Toronto goes to about 700-800 dollars on the far outskirts (or closer but basements) and up to 1500-2000 dollars downtown.
My wife and me often watch this show: http://www.hgtv.ca/forrent/
It's about an indoor decorator who tries to find a new place for people who wish to move out. She gives them three options based on their preferences.
It all happens in Toronto and should give you a general idea of what you get for what price. (Might be interesting to find some episodes on Youtube)
Hopefully you find something more appropriate where you only need to pay when you arrive at the place and see it for yourself.

I am still waiting! No news yet. It is almost a month now since the status has been changed to IP.
Tomorrow is the day where ecas is updated. Let is hope that we will hear some good news.
