Hi Guys,

Hope y’all doing well.

I’m currently on post graduate work permit and would like to invite my parents to Canada.

1. Does anybody have an invitation letter template. Should I add it to their application or not?

2. My work permit expires in July 2020. I guess I have to provide a proof of my status too. If the visa gets approve, they will get a multiple entry visa (for 10 yrs) or until July 2020?

Will appreciate your inputs.

Thanks!

An invitation letter helps although it cannot be enforced.

You're thinking way ahead of yourself. If approved, their visa validity could be for any length of time, not necessarily for 10 years.

First things first, I would recommend you go through the Visa Office instructions + Document Checklist for their country + this forum.... to get the list of basic documents to be submitted + to understand how to prepare their application/present their strong ties to their home country/what will work or won't work

Hi Everyone,
I am currently a Canadian PR holder. I migrated two months back with my family. I want to call my parents to visit us for 3 months (during summers say from April - July mid).

Can someone please provide insight what all documents are required from my side to call my parents in Canada. Also, a sample invitation letter would be really helpful.

Thanks
