Hello Everyone,

I'm planning to apply for either a standard visitor visa or supervisa for my mother-in law. Can anyone give some insights on the following queries:

1. My wife is a stay at home mom and I work full time, has anyone applied successfully with this type of scenario? Any tips?
2. Has anyone tried an upfront medical exam as shown in the website:

https://www.canada.ca/en/immigration-refugees-citizenship/services/application/medical-police/medical-exams/requirements-temporary-residents.html#when

Appreciate any tips/ideas from all you.

Edit: Please ignore the username, Canadian citizen here, its from an old account and can't seem to edit it.
This is not really a problem if your wife is home mom. I have got also my mother in law super visa only by showing my income. The invitation was from my wife to her mother but cosigned by me and you have to tell that your income is household income. It doesn't matter its ur or your wife's income or collective. You must be income cut off requirement if you wana apply for super visa. Best option is always SUPER VISA coz officer needs a very solid reason to decline it.

I am in a similar situation as you. Applied for my parents' super visa on Jan 30 2023. Parents live in UAE, but are from Pakistan. Fingerprints valid from a previous visit visa application that was refused in 2018.

Hello, My parents went to IOM for 2nd X-Ray today after 90 days of 1st X-Ray, they informed them that my parents Seputum result came negative but 2nd X-ray result is same as like the 1st one. Now they said that you both are clear from here & you dont need to come back here but you have to consult to pulmonologist for final opinion. (IOM gave the adress of pulmonologist).
What is this? Did anyone face this situation in this group? Thanks
