Hello Every one ,

I am going to apply to a visit visa for my parents.

1) Just wondering which one is the right one to apply to a visit visa GC key vs IRCC portal?

2) In the IRCC portal, there is a need for an invitation code. How can I get it?

3) In 2018, I applied for a visit visa through the GC key account and got approval too. but now I am trying to sign in to the old/existing account via GC key for a visit visa but the message says it was revoked. how to reinstate it?

Please guide me.

Visitor or supervisa?

My mother is coming to Canada end of Nov on Supervisa. Based on what I can see on the internet, arrivecan app is no longer used and all she needs to do is follow process/methods which were followed in past i.e. fill in the declaration form in flight and provide at the airport. Also now no need for PCR covid test etc.

Are there any restrictions due to covid or any other thing as of now?

Hello, My parents got medical request and then they went for medical and Dr advised them to come for 3 days in next week and then after 3 months to retest without taking any medicine because they found a small apot in chest. Anyone experienced this type of situation

Hi ,

Do we need to provide itinerary for parent's TRV in new portal? If yes, then how to get it. Thanks in advance

Hello @legalfalcon & Others,

I have recently moved to Canada with my wife in mid September.

Both of us have found jobs and have been working for the past 2-3 months now. Our total household income is in excess of $100,000.

I really want my mother to visit us on a super visa. Do you think me applying for my mothers super visa will be affected by the fact that I have only recently arrived in Canada? Curious to get some guidance.

Thanks in advance.

My mom visa got approved today, she had her biometrics done in 2017 which is going to expire in 2027.
Her passport is getting expired in 2032. Can she still get visa for 10 years or she will only get it till her last date of biometrics or it doesn't depend on biometrics at all? does it matter If I apply for her biometrics before I submit passport for stamping purposes.

Hello Everyone,

I'm planning to apply for either a standard visitor visa or supervisa for my mother-in law. Can anyone give some insights on the following queries:

1. My wife is a stay at home mom and I work full time, has anyone applied successfully with this type of scenario? Any tips?
2. Has anyone tried an upfront medical exam as shown in the website:

https://www.canada.ca/en/immigratio...ms/requirements-temporary-residents.html#when

Appreciate any tips/ideas from all you.

Edit: Please ignore the username, Canadian citizen here, its from an old account and can't seem to edit it.
