Parents TRV-Not SuperVisa

If parents want to visit for less than 6 months(on TRV not SuperVisa) do they still need TRAVEL INSURANCE?

Do they have to buy the tickets in order to apply?

While the travel insurance is not a requirement for regular visa, however, for your interest I recommend to get it once they get their visa and travel dates is known.

Just be prepared for travel insurance if the application is automatically processed as Super visa. It happened to me, my folks wanted to come just for a month, boom, was asked to submit insurance for 1 year and they were both issued 10yrs PG1 visas
