Can you still apply for a parent’s super visa even if you are unemployed by using your spouse’s proof of employment, T4 and portfolio etc??

Yes you can. Your spouse should be inviting your parents with signature and provide all the required documentations

Applied: Nov 1
Biometrics updated( from previous visitor visa): Nov 4
Medical requested: Nov 7
Medical passed: Nov 20
PPR: Nov 29 got Passport request today

Previously 3 visitor visa refusal

Happy to share my parents supervisa timeline(india):

Applied Oct 30th,2023

Bio - updated on same day Previously done

Nov 3rd- medical request both the parents

Nov - 7th - medical done

Nov 16th- mother medical passed

November 17th - PPR for mother and BVL

November 20 th - medical passed for father

November 21st - PPR and BVL

November 27th - passport submission

December 5th- received passport for both parents with PG- 1 stamp

Best of luck, it's better to apply supervisa than visitor.

I applied for my parents super visa through an agent on October 2.
this was after three times visitor visa refusal.
upfront medical done
Application submitted on : oct2
Medical passed :Oct 11

no updates after that
I’m super stressed about next steps and results.

Finally after a wait for 2.5 months, received ppr on Dec 15.
nowwaiting to submit passport and stamping.

Yes
So I submitted the application on Oct 1, and the medical passes on Oct 11. There was no update after Oct 11 until Dec 15. I actually applied through an agent so he told me there is no fixed timeline for the visas. Just have to be patient with the process.
I was super stressed Cz I had 3 refusals previously on tourist visa but blessed that super visa got approved.

Upfront medical and biometrics were valid from previous application.

Haven't heard back anything yet.
Raised a webform too. General processing time shows 46 days from India. Its been longer than that, and have seen people get PPR requests much earlier than 46 days. Any suggestions?
