for applying Canada parents supervisa, regarding letter of invitaion declaration of support, do we need to get notarized from a notary agent or lawyer or no need for that , only self signed will be sufficient ? please guide us.
guys, quick question,I took my mother in law to USA and cameback to canada through rainbow bridge (ontario) so she could enter with the supervisa. I explained to thE IRCC officer our intentions, and he was ok with everything, and said that she could stay 5 years from now on. The thing is that he did not stamp the passport. Ircc portal says that if there is no stamp, the time already started from the moment she entered.
the thing is this, we are planning to go to USA next year and comeback to canada, how will we explain this to IRCC when she comesback? Is it recorded in their system? Should I go again to usa and comeback and request a visa stamp now? She also has a visitor visa, and entered in july this year, I would not like her to have a problem about it.
please, advise. Thank you.
Pasting what the website says: If parents and grandparents who possess the temporary resident super visa or letter of introduction have a stamp in their passport with no handwritten date, or if they have no stamp, then the period of authorized stay is 5 years from the date of entry.
