Parents sponsorship income requirement after having a baby

Good day everyone,

I have a question that I can't seem to find the answer to on CIC's website and i'm hoping someone in the forum community can help us. Here is our situation:

My wife and I are planning to sponsor her parents from the Philippines. For 2014 and 2015 we met the low income cut off +30% for 4 person family however this year 2016 September my wife and I are expecting a baby. So since our family size has now grown to 5 does it mean that we only need to meet income requirement for 5 people for 2016 only? or do we need to meet income requirement for a family of 5 for 2014 and 2015 as well?

any insight or help would be greatly appreciated.

You need to meet income requirements for 5 people for 2014 and 2015 as well.

Just to add - if you are planning on applying in 2017 - then you need to meet LICO in 2013, 2014 and 2015.

If you are planning on applying in 2018 - then you are looking at the right years now.

thanks Scylla for the information. We didn't meet 5 people income for 2014 but we did in 2015 so I guess we cannot sponsor until 2019 the earliest. thanks again.
