Parents Sponsorship 2017 discussion

My daughter in Canada got the letter from CIC for submitting the Application for Sponsorship and now she submitted the App, too. We are waiting for the Application No and Receipt to receive. I read the news that more that 95,000 requests were posted for sponsorship and CIC selected 10,000 nos. randomly which will bring about 17,000 Parents/Grand Parents to Canada. I wish GOOD LUCK to all who are waiting for the positive reply from CIC.

Hey , My spouse income is $40,000 yearly and we are 5 family members, would we able to sponsor my mother . we landed in Canada on 30 December 2016. Plz your help is required as it will be open in January 2018 again to accept more applications.

No you cant.
It has to be three years + LICO+30% for 6 people
 
Hi Everyone
CIC is requesting police certificates for my parents. I've two questions

  • Does CIC need police certificates for last 10 years? or Do they need it from the age 18?
  • My parents were in Canada multiple times (on super visa) for more than six months in last 5 years. From back home do they need one police certificate (They are living in same area since long) or do they need separate police certificates for every time they were back home?

I am in same boat. I have sent an email to ask (and waiting for reply from London Visa office) but it seems like since age of 18. I am arranging for PCC from different countries where my parents lived outside home country. Little bit challenge but seems like no option
 
Looking for some help from senior members here. Today I received the good news that my Parents name has came up in the lucky draw (2018) and now I am working on preparing the documents for their PR application. I just realized that my parents don't have a marriage certificate, they got married in 1980's and at that time they didn't apply for a marriage certificate. I will appreciate some input/ suggestion from those who were in the similar situation in 2017 and has actually dealt with the issue. I will appreciate suggestion in this regard.

If spouse have only two year tax return can I add her as consigner, I have 3 year of tax returns as sponsor?

Please help if someone got approved as sponsor with two return of co signer . I fulfil income for 3 year . In 2016 I alone have enough income . In 2017n 2018 , I have required income by adding co-signer . But cosigner don’t have 2016 return.
