You'd be really stupid if you think someone ineligible filling the form will waste a spot. Of course if s/he is not eligible then s/he will be disqualified and the spot will be given to someone eligible.

and BTW CIC uploaded detailed requirements few days after they made form available. So stop shaming people who filled the forms.

I filled this form twice from my side and from my sibling's side even though I was 99% sure that I won't be eligible... You have a problem?

And even if it does waste a spot... why do I care? .. I am not getting selected anyway so why not take a few more people down with me...

There is a saying in URDU language,... "Hum tou dobay hain sanam tumko bhi lay dobain ge"... Translation: Since I am drowning so I will take you with me.. LOL

Because of few ineligible id**ts who got selected in lottery, who will eventually be disqualified later, the aged paernts of other eligible candidates will have to suffer....

Yes - provided you meet the income requirements, you can sponsor your mother. You must include your husband in the calculation of your family size.

Congrats! Yes you are 100% eligible if you meet the minimum income level to sponsor her.

would you mind sharing around what time you received the acceptance letter, i am still waiting for mine since morning & i am from Calgary. Good luck sis

Just recieved an email that I have been selected. Which is good news! My problem is that they are asking me to mention my confirmation number which nfortunately I did not save. I know that no email confirmations were sent but smart people took the screenshots of the web form while submitting the interest to sponsor form. that I didnt :-[ . Any ideas on what should be done?..thanks guys
